I greatly enjoy physical activities from basketball, volleyball, weightlifting, football, soccer, mixed martial arts, hockey, track, competitive swimming, open water swimming, and forms of dance, ballet is my favorite. I’ve participated in all the above activities. I’ve won trophies in basketball, swimming growing up but the highest achievements by far was performing open water rescues on Lake Michigan in my early 20’s. Nothing is more important than helping someone through a life-changing event.
Life is a series of pinnacle high points, difficult obstacles, even tragedies. Most of it however is a daily routine of trying to reach a career goal or being there for friends and family. Making time to take time to exercise, get regular health check ups, and expressing gratitude gets lost in the hustle of everyday life. Finding the positive side of a situation, to be thankful for is easily lost. Once it’s lost, people tend to turn to coping mechanisms that negatively affect their health and mental well being. Finding the positive in a situation gives the mental toughness it takes to making the right decision to take care of yourself.
I coach to help people become better versions of themselves primarily physically but also, mentally, emotionally and socially.
